Earthquake in Malawi

Please, as you keep Haiti in your prayers, keep us here in Malawi in your prayers also. Some of you may have heard about the earthquakes we have been having in Malawi. They have all been up north in the small town of Karonga. There have actually been around 30 since the beginning of December. Karonga is about five hours north of Lilongwe. It's right on the Tanzania border. Well, we actually had a 4.something one this morning around 1:30 am here in Lilongwe. I don't know much about earthquakes since we are from Mississippi, but it was kind of scary. We don't know what to expect. We don't know what is going to happen next. In the second article below, you can see a map to show you how far Lilongwe is from Karonga and for us to have a 4.something earthquake is a little scary.

Here are some articles that tell a little about what is going on here:

Here is the most recent report of the most recent earthquake from the Nyasa Times:

Thank you for your prayers.

In Him,
LeAnne (for all 5 of us)
